Thank you ALL for an awesome first semester! We had so much going on that I have totally slacked on my postings:) The calendar remains current, and Facebook is still the main forum used for day to day communications. Thank you God for the abundance of blessings this semester!! I am in awe of all that He has done through us and within us! I just wanna scream from the rooftops His praises! Our 2nd semester is filled with lots of exciting classes and events that you won't want to miss! Check out the calendar, and contact me if you have any questions:D

Wow! Anchor's 2nd year is off to a GREAT start! A new school year is always so exciting. Parents and kids are filled with a new energy and plenty of ideas. I LOVE it! Let's try and keep this momentum throughout the year!! Please know that without all of your dedication to our kids, and to each other, NONE of this would be possible! It fills me with joy to watch you all on Mondays. The friendships that have been built and the lessons that have been learned are truly blessings from above. We have much to be thankful for! THANK YOU!!

WOOHOO!! Awesome planning meeting yesterday! Schedule is planned for first semester and has been emailed;) If you would like a copy and did not receive one, please let me know. My family and I are super psyched about Anchor's second year and all that our Father has in store for us!! Thank you, God, for the blessings and growth!Come and join us on our journey! I look forward to seeing you on Monday, August 20th!

Anchor 4H Club is off to an awesome beginning! Thank you, Rachael, for listening to what God put on your heart and getting us started!! Thank you, God, for this wonderful opportunity! And you all were worried that we wouldn't get to see each other very often over the summer! We will meet every other Monday throughout the summer months, working on our Fishing and Camping Books. I will post our fishing and camping trip dates as soon as I know them! Looking forward to getting nice and messy with you all!!

It is almost the end of our first year, and I am just overwhelmed at all of the things we have accomplished this year!! All things truly are possible with our most loving God. My family has enjoyed every moment of getting to know you all and learning with you and your children. I am not sure who has gained the most from our very special group, the kids or the parents!! LOL Life-long friendships have been made, the support is like none I have ever experienced, and what FUN we have had! The kids didn't even know they were learning:) I just want to sincerely thank each of you for being willing to share your God given talents each week, and I thank you even more for the love that is evident each and every day. I thank God daily for putting us all together. Hope everyone enjoys a RELAXING summer! I look forward to seeing you again very soon!!

Planning Meeting on MONDAY, JANUARY 9TH, 11AM AT FIRST ASSEMBLY CHURCH IN LORIS!! There is a playground, so feel free to bring the kids:) Plan on 2 hours, but if we can get it all done more quickly, we will. Please RSVP so that I know who is coming. Please come prepared to discuss and determine class days and times, length of semester(when to start and end), Easter, class schedule, AND what you are willing to teach. I would also like to decide whether or not we want to meet again for sign ups, or just sign up by email. We had a few moms ask about monthly classes, as well. Anchor's First Annual Thanksgiving Celebration was a blast! Thank you for all of the time and effort you put into making it a wonderful success. The food was delish, and fellowship was enjoyed by all. I really enjoyed watching the kids make their own toys using only nature and everyday items that we usually overlook(or discard). The Mayflower race was a big hit! Their creative juices were overflowing!! So much so, in fact, that the kids performed a re-enactment of 'The Gruffalo' for our entertainment. Entirely from memory! To wrap things up for the day, the children all took garbage bags and cleaned up the park. What a sight it was! To see our children giving back to our community, happily and without complaint, truly warmed my heart. We each have so much to be thankful for this season, but educating our children to follow Christ with such a great group of families ranks at the top of my list. Thanks to each of you! What a blessing you are to us!

Classes are going well, children are learning and having fun, and parents are connecting and building friendships! What more could you ask for? LOTS!! God promises to bless His children beyond their imaginations. All we have to do is ask and believe! We have many things in the works right now to encourage fellowship and excite our children.
