The purpose of this Statement of Faith is to ensure that all members share similar homeschooling philosophies and goals. It is a big part of who we are. It guides our attitudes and actions in every part of our lives. We expect our members to behave in a manner that glorifies Christ and lifts one another up.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is God-breathed and is without error. Jesus Christ is the eternal Son incarnate, fully God and fully man, conceived and born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the Cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into Heaven at the right hand of God, and will come again in glory to judge us all. The Holy Spirit has come to glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to our hearts, He convicts us of sin and draws us to the Savior, He gives us new life, empowers and imparts gifts to us for service, He instructs and guides us into all truth, and seals us for the day of redemption. We believe that man was created in God's image, but is separated from Him through sin. We believe that salvation cannot be earned by works or deeds, but is wholly dependent upon the gift of God's free grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Good works are the inevitable result of true faith, but are in no way the basis of our right standing before God. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in Jesus and that individual doctrinal differences which may exist should not hinder the unity of Christian homeschoolers.
